Sowbug roundup
« on: February 04, 2009, 08:05:18 AM »
Anybody going? I'd like to go....
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

I had put it on the things to do, my FFF club out of Huntsville goes ever year, 8 days in the spring and fall.

My son is out of school that week, plus shutdown at work starts that weekend.

I have to keep the kids one weekend a year while my wife goes on a ladies trip, and yes you guessed it, that is the weekend. I love the sowbug and I hate that I will not get to go with you guys.  I would recommend it to anybody with an interest in tying flies.
Accommodations , I can give a few options
          Dale Fultons
          Genes Trout resort
          Ramada Inn (mountain Home)
          Riley's Station

I have stayed at all of these, and they are all pretty good, but you need to start looking, as this is a big weekend in a small town,

I am planning on going, haven't made reservations yet.  Would like to be able to "lock in" the going part.  Still working on it.  Heard it's a great time.
