Spent the past few days on the upper Caney. First couple of days went well until water began to rise slowly and cloud up.
Best result came from LARGE chartruse and white clousers and heavy black sculpin patterns fished slow and deep (6-10 feet) around SUV size boulders and eddies. Unable to bring any fish up to the surface with top water offerings. Water temps still cold. Best fishing will come as water clears and temps. begin to rise.
