Spring Creek fishing 3/25/2006
« on: March 25, 2006, 11:25:01 PM »
I went up in the hills and fished some spring creeks Sat. I fished alone and only encountered one other human all day. It really is nice to get away from everything and all the noise every once and awhile. The scenery was awesome, the water Gin clear and cold, and the fishing was good enough to keep me smiling all day, I think I had 10 or 12 Rainbows, about 50% were beautiful holdover fish. The weather was a little cold and completely cloudy all day. I guess I hiked at least 10 miles combined, mostly in water.
Check out the recent album for a journal of Saturday’s trip.

Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Cool.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
