Went to the ELK today. Started raining as soon as we left Chattanooga and didn't really ever quit
Very slow fishing! They were hitting midges topwater, but my smallest dry fly #18 was 4 times larger than the naturals. Finally caught one trophy sized creek chub on a nymph and later one brown on a blk wooly booger. Rain set-in hard so we left.
Abad day of fishing is better than a good day of listening to your wife tell you what you should be doing instead of sitting on yer ass. :o
