The White Bass Run
« on: April 01, 2010, 08:53:12 AM »
Should be going on strong now!! Anyone been?
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

The old timers say it's on when the redbuds bloom.  They're starting to peek out a little bit now but I can't say they're in full bloom yet.

Hit em on Douglas near Leadvale last weekend and wore em out.  Then hit another run on the French Broad and found em too.  It is definetly on.

Floated the East Fork last Monday, 04/05, and they were showing up a little bit.  Action did not pick up until late afternoon but they are definitely starting their run.

Fish on!
