The Buffalo Spawn is on.
I just haven't had time to do any processing on these so they are straight out of the camera.

The fish are leaving so if you are going to go up there go down the "normal" runs where they hang are desolate. Thirty or so fish to hand today and thankfully no broken rods. I am thinking a 7wt might be to light for these guys.

Anybody have an idea whether there are any buffalo still left, or are they all spawned and gone?
Saturday's going to be my first shot at getting on them, unfortunately.

Bd, I am pretty sure it is over. I am not 100% but they were spewing eggs pretty good almost a week ago.
Bad weather Saturday too.

I have been finding big schools of carp on a few area streams. They are up high in the streams on shallow gravel bars right now. Big fun!!!
