Had the bend pool to myself yesterday afternoon. Picked up a few but overall it was slow. I saw a few rise rings and lots of microscopic tan bugs close to the water. The bugs were smaller than any midges I have ever seen and I didn't have anything that would imitate.
I'm pretty new to this river but what I have seen so far is really slow.
