Travis, I know that feeling. Found one last year around this time. Didn't even think about the camera, should have, I just thought, boot=death to spider.

Those things are nasty, nasty!!   :o

Mr. Anderson is a huge fan of a good spider and I suspect he will like this one as well ;)
I just don't care!

I thought about deleting this post.

You don't like spiders, Mike?  I had no idea!  No wonder you won't fish in my boat!

For those who don't know, I've nicknamed my boat "The Spider Hatch" because every time I go fishing on a sunny day, a million little jumping spiders appear out of nowhere and try to crawl on the back of everybody's neck.  I don't know why they like my boat so much - I suspect they wander out of the nearby trees to take shelter under my boat cover.

To say I don't like them doesn't even begin to explain the hatred I have for those sneaky little vampires.

I used to run a warehouse for pest chemicals and we'd find all kinds of things in there. There were some monstrous recluses in that place. I know of all places to find them a warehouse housing stuff to kill them. But we'd catch the ones still alive not on our traps and put them in a case to duel other insect ala UFC style.  ;D

Watched a recluse one time paralyze the back legs of a huge carpenter ant before the ant finally ripped the spider in two pieces.

Heck, that sounds more exciting than that hyped up mixed martial arts thing that came here a few weeks ago ;)

The Recluse is a nasty little spider. I saw one last weekend that was about the size of quarter and living in a couch!  :o It was a $6500 couch and as far as I'm concerned you can burn it.

I'm with you Mike, have absolutely no use for any spiders!  I found a nest of them under an entertainment center, and discovered through research that Eucalyptus leaves will deter them and it does work.  Only problem is, her Eucalyptus plant looks naked with out any leaves on it!!  ;D
