"Pale Male" & "Lola" (wildlife photography)

I just read an interesting story about a guy named Lincoln Karim who spends almost everyday in Central Park, NYC photographing wildlife, and mostly photographing 2 hawks, "Pale Male" and "Lola" that live on an expensive apartment building facing Central Park. 

I found his website, and his photos are amazing.  The "archive" goes year-by-year, and then if you click a photo under a certain date, it will open a new page with several photos all taken on that given day.  Start at 2010 and work your way backwards. 

Here is a random shot I thought was cool, but you guys might enjoy spending a bit of time browsing his site and checking out the photos.  They are really great.

Cool. Finding where they live makes it nice. I have found a hawks nest but I have not asked permission to go on the land to photograph them yet.

I know where a nest is near my house.  It is on private land in a stand of trees, but not very far from the road, and from the fence you have a clear shot to the nest with no trees or anything to block the view. In fall and winter, I can look and check their nest to see if it is occupied as I drive by...
