The owner of Choo choo, Mac won the tourney by cheating and fishing in private water accessible by boat but only with the owners' permission.
He is a joke and a backstabbing jerk.

I don't know any of the players involved here.

But, this type of sentiment is why many of us prefer not to
make a competition out of the peaceful time we spend
with a fly rod in our hands.

I don't know if the statement above is true, but generally speaking:  beware of fishing tournaments where they guy organizing the tournament and taking the money is also fishing in the tourney.

back when I was shopping for a 8'9" SLT #3 Sage rod, I stopped in and Mac told me that was a western rod, was no good on our eastern waters  ;) Tell that to all the fishes I've caught with it since he lost the sale ;D

8'9" SLT 3wt is a classic and will be for a long time
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Agree BD. If that is true, that is just wrong.
