This book has changed my fishing life. Ever since discovering pike, I fell in love with catching them. It's like fishing for fresh water sharks. This book has everything you need to know to get started and to be successful. It presents basic and advanced techniques, seasonal variations, and easy to tie flies.

Nice! I've got a few pike rivers and a lot of lakes very close to where i live. Every spring i vow to go chase them and every year i never go. I'm adding this to my amazon list and ordering it for winter reading.

I wish we had them around here in more places. Sweet fish and I can understand the addiction.

I grew up in an area where Pike were pretty much the apex predator in the waters and they can be a whole lot of fun. I've caught a few on light tackle before but never on a fly rod, I can only imagine how much fun that would be.

Character, not circumstance, makes the person.

Thanks for the recommendation. It was just in time because I am planning on a trout fishing trip next month, together with my 2 boys (they really enjoy this hobby). I'll go try and see that book. Thanks!
