Frozen Nolichucky
« on: December 08, 2010, 02:08:26 PM »
Can't get a break to go musky fishing.
The flow dropped from 20,000 cfs to 1,000 cfs in one week, now the darn river's freezing.  I'll have to wait til the next warm spell to hit the river again.

Wussy
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

My pond already has 1/2" of ice on it. It didn't really freeze until Jan last year. With more super cold air next week, it is going to get interesting around here.

Hey Travis,

How frozen is it today, or whenever you saw it last?  I might try to hit it this week....

About 800 cfs, and looking awfully good...no ice.  If this rain doesn't change it much, Is say it should be prime.  I may fish on the crawdad on Fri morning--(may also hike into the gorge, if you want to go)...Heading to the New this weekend for a birthday getaway.  Good luck if you hit it Scott.
