October fishing plans
« on: April 10, 2011, 12:59:45 PM »
Hey Kyle, Travis, and all you other easterners,

Have a business convention the second week of October in Kingsport and will be looking to wrap a couple of days of fishing around the deal.  One day guided with a client and one day on my own.  Any suggestions for that area during that time period?

Thanks,
Fred

It's about the last hoorah of the low/clear topwater smallmouth season, small streams fish well before the leaf fall, night time trout fishing at it's best (I can show you a few spots), and some good clear water for muskies on the otherwise stained wild rivers.

Give me a holler as the time draws near, and I'll steer you to the best fishing I can help you find.

I m still cussing them leaves from last fall.
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

Travis nailed it. I can put you in the raft for some tailwater,smally/musky, or we can hit streams. If you give me the dates I will go ahead and take one of the days off.

Kyle,
What do you think of Thursday, Oct. 13th, or Tuesday, Oct. 18th?
I'm game for whatever's happening at that time of year.
