Orvis Podcasts
« on: August 12, 2011, 10:13:03 AM »
I know these have been around for a while, but I just loaded up a dozen or so into my iPod and have been checking them out.  They are great!  Any beginning fly-fisherman will find a wealth of knowledge in these things, and I pick up a thing or two in every podcast that I didn't know before in fishing 30+ years.

Really well done by Orvis and Tom Rosenbauer.  Highly recommended.  As I said, for you guys just getting into the sport, these are a gold mine of information!!!

Best Podcast is not Orvis

I don't want to hurt anybodies feelings, but  Orvis should stick to making great rods and reels.  I've been using Orvis fly rods and reels for over 30 years.

The best podcast by far is Askaboutflyfishing.com

They have a great website, plus they are on itunes.

Check them out.  I've been listening to them for years.  I've used their suggestions and ideas with great results.

Thanks for sharing that info Todd and I am sure somebody will find it useful. Like you I have been fishing for 30+ years and I still learn a lot from other people who take the time to share what they know...
