Around the Stones
« on: September 18, 2011, 08:28:48 AM »
Went to the Caney this morning and became frustrated do to the fact of catching dinks and only dinks.  I know something is better then nothing, but when you see mother nature on the prowl you know its going to be a long morning for better fish.  So after seeing that, I packed my stuff up and went back home.  As I pulled in the drive, I thought why not go small-mouthing.

Loaded my TFO 5wt bug launcher and off I went.  I caught 8-10 around the size below.

Have a great Sunday,
 Pal

Nice!  Hoping to see the fall smallmouth bite pickup in my local waters soon!  Gonna give it a shot next week...

OK!  This just seals the deal for me to hit a couple places close to my house just north of Nashville.  :P
