I ain't lying --- the best cast & catch I saw all year last year was Mr. Glenn Hawkins casting to a surface feeding carp from at least 40 to 50 feet and laying a bug right on his nose, hooking up, landing it, and taking 2nd or 3rd place (right?) in the Carp Tournament with it.  It was a thing of beauty.  It was not an easy day of fishing, the carp were few and far between, and as I recall, we were drifting by this carp at a weird angle, and it was a one-shot opportunity to hit it without spooking it.  The only thing he did wrong was he lost his tournament card into the lake when the fish took a flop  ;D but that could have been partially my fault as well...  :-X  Those things sink fast!   :o

Todd, we need to have a discussion as I was thinking about asking you to fish with me in the tournament this year.  :P

The bit about bowfishing at the "caveat emptor" part of the site was a nice touch.
