Trout Trip

I took JayA out for awhile Fri. It was slow but we did manage a few 10 – 12”ers and Jay hooked up with a very nice fish somewhere in the 20+ inch range. It broke a poorly tied blood knot that I would have sworn I tested before I handed him the rod…  ::) ;D

Enjoyed it Jay!

It was a great trips as always.  I'm not so sure it was the knott tying as much as the person fighting the fish.  I have to say that is the biggest trout I have had on in Tennessee on a flyrod and I did not fight it that well.  I did get to fight it for a couple of minutes and we both got a very good look at the fish.  What a blast and in a spot I would have passed over had Mike not told me to fish it.

Thanks, Mike for a great trip.  Maybe if a quit some of my jobs I could fish more often?
