Loaded up the SeaArk, and tomorrow we're off.  Hoping to find Beach tarpon in Tampa, mangrove snook and tarpon in Chokoloskee, and snook, mahi, and cobia in Fort Pierce.  Just getting down there is fine with me.  Gotta get this trip in before the baby's here.
Wear them out in TN.  Some of you need to hit the E. TN cicadas while they're here.
Reports to follow.

Awesome trip so far.  Crstal's a happy girl!  My right ARM is still sore from fighting one down myself.  Tomorrow, gonna try a DIY SeaArk tarpon trip off the beach on the 12 wt....I have no clue how I can pull that hard with a flyrod.

That's just freaking unreal to catch a fish as long as you are :o Looks like he could swallow a basketball, but what I really like about that pic is the eyes. Good work to you all.

Sweet. Glad you guys found a few.

Update:  missed the tarpon Tampa bite due to a strong west wind that stirred up some large swells.  Saw some Goliath Dock monster redfish that would top the 52 lb state record..but I think they were only eating scraps from cleaning tables...believe me, I tried to get them to eat.  Lots of baby snook and ladyfish in the everglades, and Crystal hooked and lost a nice tarpon.  I hooked an alligator this AM, and also had two great leaps from a nice tarpon, but none landed before some tubers on a ski boat killed the bite on showering mullet.  Trying for inlet snook tonight and tomorrow.
