Warmwater err,,, hotwater Musky kayak special!

Things are slowing down some finally so I thought I’d run a special on my new Coosa’s. From now until late Sept I’m offering a day/evening float for Musky on the Caney Fork (upper and lower), Collins, and Calf Killer. The cost is $100 and does not include lunch. Methods we will use are fly fishing, artificial, live suckers (works amazingly well when we can cast net a few), or all of the above. It’s going to be hot and the water is low but the fish are going to be packed in the deep sections or easy to spot in the shallows.

Well after several years off I thought my cast net skills were going to be rusty. Nope! I can still open one up like saucer every time. Time for a change of pace. We have a couple of people signed up already. This is Going to be fun! Hot,,, but fun.

Are you guys going to stay the weekend ? I just finished building a new AR and I have about 8000 rounds I want to burn up so I may bring it along for some additional fun :) any objections ?

My son took the utility trailer this morning to pickup a Santa Claus with reindeer thingy, they're planning on blasting it up this weekend, i'm planning on whipping his ass if he dosen't clean up the mess :o

Hmmmmm, very tempting.  By the end of August I finish up traveling for work, and the kids are back in school. I always like September weather, mid-week would be great ;D

BD finally scored his first Musky today. Had four others follow and another on for awhile. Upper Caney fork next.

I'll put up a some pics later. He got a small one but he got one and got to see a few follows. We we're using live bait, big juicy stonerollers. Couldn't get the big white suckers this time. Maybe next time.

The Smallmouth action was pretty awesome too.

By the way, I hope I didn't leave you waiting at the McD's yesterday morning too long.  I checked mapquest today - it's actually 2 hours and 20 minutes from my house to McMinnville, not an hour and 45.  I thought I was just making bad time.
