Collins Gulf

Made it out to Collins Gulf Saturday and hiked down to Sutter Falls.

Water was flowing with all the recent rain.

The first section of the trail requires lots of concentration since you are hiking on microwave sized rocks.
Made it down to Horsepound Falls in time for lunch.

This area has some dramatic geological shifts between the Cumberland Plateau and the highland rim.

Looking forward to exploring this area in the coming months.

Awesome looking place Brady. Thanks for taking us there.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

That's a nice quiet side of the park. Horsepound was our lunch spot on the way to Sawmill. That's also where we tanked up on drinking water cause it gets dry the lower you go, unless you want to pull water from the cave  :D
