JPP 4-18
« on: April 19, 2007, 08:17:06 AM »
Fished JPP from about 8-12 yesterday. SLOOOWWWW is what I found. Caught three little ones (2 striper, 1 Hybrid) and that was it. Turned it into a bait run at that point and went to throw the net. Water temps were up 5-8 degrees (60-63) from yesterday depending on where/when. Skies were overcast ALL day with little to no wind. I was surprised at how slow it was considering the conditions..overcast, pre-frontal. Even had fewer boats on the lake today than Tuesday. Found fish more or less where I left them Tuesday but they scattered late morning. I think the lack of wind might have hurt a little.
