BandDad, I was raised in the country outside of Metro Lynchburg, lived for 21 years a mile from the lake behind the high school. I helped open a plant in Fayetteville and was working from before daylight to after dark, got off early one day and took some of my overtime and went and purchased a 15'4" Gheenoe, took it to the lake (one) whole time, told my wife I was going to sell it, because I will never get to use it, and I did, Guess what?, in less than a year I had sold the Lynchburg homestead and purchased 20 acres on the river. Build a log home and the rest is history as they say. Now work 3 long days but have 4 off a week to piddle and fish
We can't see a light at night. closest neighbor are coyotes and otters. A bless man indeed.
