Fell off the wagon........Again!!!

Got started around  6 am, drove for a few hours.... It was CCCCold!!!!



Got to the launch and there was no one there!!!!! So I quickly loaded up and launched!!!! I ran way up river and tied up  to let the water settle behind me. This was also a good chance to set up the camera tripod setup.



Nope!!!



Yeah that's better!!
( you know the whole time i set this thing up I thought......No way I'll catch one now!!!!!





Wrong!!!!!!





And then  treated myself to the "Best Steak Sandwich south of the Mason Dixon"

Very nice! You could almost skip the fishing for the food.  ;).


I love the stars, I have seen them on the water but never captured them.   :o  :D

Good Job Eric.  Way to squeak one in at the end of the year.  Nice solo shot.  That's pretty hard to do while banking the boat...pushing the camera button, lifting the fish and hoping he doesn't go apeshit before the 10s delay.
I'm 0 for 2 on my past 2 outings  :'(. Hoping for better luck in January.
