Creek Report 5-3-14
« on: May 04, 2014, 08:03:11 AM »
Got out Saturday to try our luck and found the creek to be high, swift, and cold! Caught a few red eye early and decided to take a lunch break to enjoy the scenery and let things warm up a bit.

Got back to fishing and picked up a few more.

Headed back to the car and the water flow had already started to decrease.

Jennifer caught the big fish of the day and her personal best smallmouth. We both had luck picking up fish with heavy black, white, and olive streamers with split shot in about 4 feet of water.

It was a beautiful day to be out.  Glad you got out and wet a line. That is some good looking water.

I was wrapping up the home list this weekend. Finished my front landscaping for this year, at least.  ;)

Looks good!  Do I know this place  ;)

I have been buried at work and not been able to get out.  Heading to Pac NW soon, but water up there appears to be a mess…  It might be June before I can get back at in earnest.  Glad you got out!

Cool!  I have gone on a cold streak as far as arrowheads go.  I've not had a good find in a long, long time.
