Managed to get a day free and decided to head downstream for a couple of miles.

Jennifer and I fished/hiked for 8 hours with out much catching. We threw everything we had in our fly boxes, but could not get the fish to cooperate and only caught a few small fish for all our efforts. The scenery made up for the lack of fish and you could see the humidity in the air. Beats work any day!

Bummers on the lack of fish, but it still looks like a pretty good time was had...

Beautiful water and scenery. Glad you got out. Maybe the fish will cooperate better next time.
