Bushwhacked out to some really skinny water the other day with my daughter.
The water was crystal clear and the fish were hanging around the weed beds and in the shadows. Nothing big, but it is always nice to catch smallmouth.
Lots of panfish were caught and I even saw a yellow perch swim by which was completely unexpected as they are not native to this stretch. Once the sun came up above the trees the fish seemed to disappear and we headed back.
