Grump good find,
I believe a better question would be....Who taught you how to cast a fly rod?

I had three teachers in my time.  First time I met Grump and he sold me 3x tippet for the stones river.  I had no idea about fly fishing, but when he asked me what I needed I laughed and 2 hours later I had some idea of how to throw some line (private lesson for free).  Secondly, I met MikeA.  He introduced me to sinking line and not talking til 4 months after it happens.  Lastly, I read a book called, Casting The Cure.  I became obsessed with casting, small loops, large loops, double shots with 2 nymphs and a egg.

Casting is what got me to become obsessed about fishing. Learning, and controlling what I could about fishing.  To this day i go out and practice, work on different presentations, hit marks long and short.  My wife calls it decease, I call it not struggling with something you can control.
