I prepaid for 2 of these this spring and the projected shipping time was September.  They are having shipping problems currently.  They are not projected to ship out the new ones now till December.  They are working on moving their manufacturing from China to the US and the Chinese company has in turn made the product sit in China.  It is very frustrating.  I have used plastic rod tubes made by Sport Tube for almost 12 years, but they are falling apart now.  Now I am forced to sit and wait after shelling out cash months ago.  The pre-order deal sounds good, but they charge you $60 per unit to ship them to you... I know good and well it doesn't cost $60 to send fed ex to memphis.  I can't wait to get them, but the inconvenience of this stinks.

Or for about $6.00 you can have one with an alarm system... If your truck has an alarm. And this one has held up to a dozen rods!!
