End of Summer
« on: September 18, 2017, 05:02:40 PM »
Thought I would take a break from working and post a couple images from a recent trip out with a friend. Creek was low and clear as is typical for this time of year. Both his wife and father are battling cancer, so I was happy to take him out for awhile to get his mind off things.

The bass were willing to bite and we took advantage of the day.

I am always amazed that such nice fish can live in skinny water.

Leaves are beginning to fill up to fill up the creeks now and I am going to start hitting the lakes.
Also heard a rumor  that a kid caught a 9 pound smallmouth in one of the Duck River tributaries......

Give me a shout Brady, we can explore Centerhill.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Nice fish Brady and you are a good friend as distractions can be good when there are stressors in your life.
