Over the years I've heard many reports about a fall Striper frenzy that happens on Cordell Hull around the Granville area. I've always wanted to fish CH more but it was just a little far for me. Now it's only 30 to 40 min and I would love to learn more about it. Anyone ever fished there or heard talk of it??
Alas, all the evil of the twentieth century is possible everywhere on earth. Yet, I have not given up all hope that human beings and nations may be able, in spite of all, to learn from the experience of other people without having to go through it personally. The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

Bessley's Bar up from Defeated Creek would be a good place to start.
