150th Anniversary of the Battle of Stones River
« on: December 23, 2012, 05:11:08 PM »
Went for an early morning hike/hunt with my camera at the Stones River battlefield today. Not much wildlife this trip, I guess everything was hiding from the coming rains.
FYI this weekend there will be a large reenactment at the Battlefield. This year marks the 150th anniversary of this battle. If you've never seen Civil War reenactment or don't know much about this battle I highly recommend that you come out. These guys take these reenactments very, very, serious and they do an amazing job. I'm also considering making a trip to Gettysburg this year for the 150th there. That one is going to nuts.
