These aren't necessarily fishing boots, they are comfy & rated to -40, i guess they could be used to launch a boat though. I've been wearing them in the mud/snow with a light pair of socks, no problems.

I have a pair of Mucks in about that same height. I'm amazed that I can stand and cast all day and not have tired feet at the end of the day. Great boots and almost as comfy as crocks.
