Had a great time again today.

Jarrod and I spent the day on the water again and it was just amazing. The Gods have smiled on us for two days.  

I had the camera set to iso 1600 from a shoot I was doing indoors earlier... rookie mistake. They stilled turned out ok I think. I got to break in a brand new Redington Predator 6wt with the new Sage 4200 reel and a 300 grain SA Streamer Express. I can't even begin convey with words just how bad ass this combo is.

Those are some nice fish and great pics.
Thanks for sharing with a guy who's only fish in the last month and a half has been crappie through the ice.

I 've gotta get out and fish soon!

Mike,

Seven or eight years ago when I was teling you that you had the gift and should do this site I really believed you had more than enough talent to be very good at it but I have to admit that your photography is so much better than I even imagined! I knew you would be great on the fishing side but your photography is absolutely awesome. 

 If you have not already done so, you should definitely look at trying to sell your work to some high end outlets.  I just did a site for an Argentina hunting and fishing lodge and they used some very high priced photographers including some from Field and Stream whose work was very good but really not as good as some of yours and they had some very good scenery to work with.  They have excellentDorado fly fishing there that I will be going on soon and I would think we could workout a deal with them if you are interested.  I can also hook you up with Kevins Outdoors who sells to very high end clients and would probably be another good source for revenue and gear.

If you want to pursue any of this just let me know but definitly know that your photography is world class!

Great rods for the money huh. You should try the 6, its the perfect Smallmouth and Trout streamer rod.

Great shots Mike.  You guys got some nice healthy fish.
 I'm hoping this come-back trend keeps going on. My brother revisited a river stretch we fished in our youth, that has worsened over the past 15 yrs.  When I returned his call...."It's Back!" were his words.  He was in a pod of Fat rainbows, and he hooked two while I was talking with him.
