short TN River trip
« on: February 09, 2011, 06:21:22 PM »
Had to get outside today, but didn't have time to run for toothy fish before the ice storm was predicted to hit. A quick run down to the river seemed the best option. Worked deep structure with clousers and white bunny leeches on a T14 shooting head. Got a mess of fish, just not the big smallmouths I was hoping for... white bass, yellows, a single spot, a couple channel cats and a small blue, and the ever-present drum. They might not be muskies, but drum never fail to make me smile a little bit, and when they're all iridescent like this guy, they're spectacular fish.

Great shot Dave.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
