Had this jaunt on my bucket list for a few years, had matured enough to know I didn't want to do it alone.

West Prong Little Pigeon from Chimney's Picnic parking lot up the canyon to where road meets water again at Chimney Top trail head/Road Prong area.

ran into a Muslin extremest along the way, or is that a person that lost his man card ?

very low water, and 7 hard hours to make trip, a little over an hour to walk back along the road

some monster boulders up that canyon

and some Jewels of the Headwaters

Looks Like a nice Trip sure makes some of us sitting in an office jealous
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

Great report and pictures! Makes me jealous as that's one of my favorite places to fish although I don't make it there very often anymore...  Had a lot of good days in there.  Thanks for the reminder that I need to fish that stream again!

Nice pics...might have to give that a try when my brother and I go up there in October.  We fished Road Prong and Walker Camp Prong this spring and did fairly well...lots of boulder hopping...falling asleep that night was not a problem.

Nice report, is the stream open like that the whole way other than the house sized rocks?

Yeah, it was pretty open, plenty of casting room, good thing to cause fish were easily put down.

Wish I could see your pics. Why were they deleted? Anyways, kind of ironic. I was there that same day, on road prong. Small world..........

we quit at the foot bridge to Chimney Tops, actually climbed up it, we considered a jaunt up Road Prong but figured we'd had enough for one day.

Have wondered that myself, Yoda told me he posted the photos but have never seen them either.

If you attach photos from your hard drive they get uploaded to my Server. I have the max size set so that I don't run out of disk space. After awhile that space gets used up and I have to flush out all the old uploaded images. It's best if you use an outside image hosting service and just place the tags here. The images yoda posted were uploaded to my server and got flushed during the last maintenance I did. Sorry.
