As I planned to do I'm keeping Sam on Dry Run Creek. It's crowded, spring break here to.

Rob offered me his personal boat for the week. Thanked him, but do feel naked over here without one.

Guys are moving around to find wade able water, catching fish but no hugh ones. Couple guys on streamer guide trip with Dally's today.

Sam and I met up with Rob and Chris at the Sowbug tying event, left there, went and had lunch then off to the shop to watch to boat removal process.

48" rear deck for my fishing pals to stand on

that is a 54" front deck  :o block in middle is for anchor cleet

Foxy Black

pulled this XP48 while mine set in sun for 20 minutes, it was stubborn coming out, blew it out and started the waxing, gelcoat goes in tonight.

Business is good, said he sold 7 boats last Friday alone. Good thing I ordered when I did, has near 40 boats on order for his dealer network.

Looks a little different with her Sunday clothes on.

Now he takes her to the custom cover maker down the road for the cover and I hope I get off the week of April 8th :o

Making a 3 day trip to get her, taking Sam Looper with me, he got a kitchen pass, has never fished Arkansas and figured he was the last one to ride in a boat and catch fish with me, I'd let him have the honor of helping me put fish slime on this one, keep the Karma going.

drive out, wade fish till dark
pick up boat, demo her, streamer fish till dark, if running water
fish early and hit the road

I like the new transom mount and reinforcement.

I would add deck depth if I redid or just modify what I have. Really glad I went what what I did already.

David, sorry to threadjack, awesome rig indeed. You will be pleased beyond belief.

Great looking boat David, I'll bet it will scoot with that 40 on her.  Have fun!
